SPRATEGY Water Treatment Field ToolsBench testing, reporting and dewatering
For plant operators and technicians

Run the test. Get the number. Issue the report.

Calculators built for the way work actually happens at a treatment plant — standing at a bench with an iPad, not sitting at a desk afterwards. Every figure is shown with the formula behind it, and the jar test turns your bench results into a formal report for the utility, with your logos, the plant profile and photographs of every jar.

Nothing leaves your device

No server, no account, no database. Every calculation runs in your browser.

Works without signal

Once the page has loaded it keeps working, which matters in a plant basement.

Issues a formal report

Letterhead with your logos, plant profile, method, results, photographs and a signature block.

Shows the math

Every result expands to reveal the formula worked through with your own numbers.

The tools

Two calculators, one standard of evidence

Both are single pages that load instantly and need nothing installed. Each has a built-in guide covering the procedure, the formulas, and how to read the result.

Bench testingThickening + dewatering

Polymer Jar Test Suite

Work out exactly how many millilitres to add to each jar, record what you observe, and let the tool identify the best dose. Thickening mode records floc, free drainage, filtrate clarity and thickened solids for rotary drum and gravity belt thickeners; dewatering mode records CST and cake solids. Compare products head to head, then issue the report.

Make-down recipes sized for dry, emulsion and solution polymers

Dewatering

Belt Filter Press Calculator

Model the whole press operation from feed to cake. Enter the feed rate per press, solids and operating hours, and it works out dry tonnage, polymer demand, cake production, filtrate volume and the loading checks that tell you whether the presses are set up sensibly for the load.

Full daily mass balance that closes in and out
Throughput per press against the usual 2,000 lb/hr minimum
Hydraulic and solids loading per metre of belt
Cake production and volume reduction factor
Polymer cost per dry ton, corrected for active content
Flags recycle load when capture rate is low
Live
every figure updates as you type or drag
3 checks
throughput, cake solids and capture, with pass or fail
2 pages
printed report covering inputs and results

How your data is handled

These are static pages. There is no server behind them, no login, and no database.

  • Every calculation happens in your browser, on your device.
  • The jar test keeps your work in this browser on your device as you go, so a reloaded tab loses nothing. Saving a test downloads a permanent file to your own downloads folder. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.
  • Photographs and logos added to a jar test are stored inside that file and go nowhere else.
  • Once a page has loaded it continues to work with no connection.

These are engineering estimates

Confirm measured sludge properties, actual operating conditions, polymer dose from a bench test, and equipment capacity before using any figure for purchasing, bidding or design. Bench results are a starting point — expect to re-optimise on the full-scale machine.
